Coolant is generally made up of a mixture of water and glycol. Where there is an anti-freezing element of glycol coolant, which means that if the coolant is used even in an icy place, then it does not freeze. So that the coolant prevents the engine from freezing,

if water is used in such an icy place, the water starts freezing and the engine starts freezing.The boiling temperature of the coolant is also much higher than that of water. Due to which the water of the engine comes out of the boiler, but due to the presence of coolant glycol, the coolant is not known to boil.

Ethylene Glycol – Ethylene glycol coolant was now widely used but is still used in many places. The reason for stopping this coolant is that it is very toxic, if by mistake even this coolant goes into someone’s mouth, then the person can also die.

Propylene Glycol – This coolant is much less toxic than ethylene glycol, i.e. if it goes into someone’s mouth, similar to the amount of alcohol, then the person does not die, so this use is increasing nowadays.
